We want to inform you in advance about an important regulatory change that will affect all shipments from India (and globally) to the United States.
👉 Effective August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will discontinue the “de minimis” exemption that earlier allowed international shipments valued under $800 to enter duty-free, without customs charges or formal paperwork.
What this means for you:
All international parcels (courier or postal) arriving in the U.S. after August 29, 2025 will need formal customs clearance.
This could lead to longer processing times, additional customs checks, or import duties/taxes depending on U.S. Customs rules.
Orders delivered before August 29 will still be processed under the old system (no change).
Orders delivered after August 29 may face extra charges and longer clearance timelines.
Our Recommendation:
To avoid delays or unexpected charges, we suggest placing your next order in early September 2025, once the new customs procedures are fully streamlined and logistics partners have adapted.
